A few more paintings. The Tortoise painting is for an upcoming VANL fundraiser; the other two are currently at the Leyton Gallery for the annual summer show.

A day in the nature

Sunday, August 2nd, 2009

If you’ve been to, or live in Newfoundland, you’ve probably been to our zoo – The Salmonier Nature Park. It really is a lovely spot, with a 2.5 km boardwalk trail winding through several habitats that contain animals native to the province. And admission is free! Spying the animals, however, is the hard part. I thought I would document my visit today, and subsequent visits hereafter.
