What’s this now?

I began my comic strip, Werebears and Only Children, in the winter of 2007 for The Scope, a bi-weekly entertainment newspaper in St. John’s. It ran there until the Spring of 2010. I had an exhibition with the same name at Eastern Edge Gallery in 2009.

I’m an artist and hold a BFA from Grenfell College, Corner Brook, NL, and a Bachelor of Education from Memorial University.

I make paintings and comics, and my artwork is represented in St. John’s, NL by the Leyton Gallery of Fine Art.

I’m also an occasional printmaker and I served on the board of directors of St. Michael’s Printshop from 2004-2009.

I like to play video games that aren’t too frustrating, and I like to watch lots of movies, especially old ones. I also love visiting good zoos.

Thank you to the Newfoundland and Labrador Arts Council for generously supporting many of the works on this website, most notably work from the Werebears and Only Children exhibition at Eastern Edge.

You can follow me on Twitter for updates, @werebears, if you’re so inclined.

Thanks very much for stopping by.
